Taking pre-distressed design aesthetics further, South Korean fashion brand Ader Error introduces its second collaboration with American footwear powerhouse Converse. The two brands reunite after teaming up earlier in the year. The design pays homage to the vintage charm of well-loved Chucks, while staying true to their motto: embracing missed opportunities to shape the future.
This collaborative colourway features a sail white canvas construction with exposed underlays flaunting blue knitted fabrics. Chaotic blue stitches and co-branded stamp marks maintain the disorganised makeover. Ader Error branding adorns the lateral ankle, while the signature Chuck 70 patch sits on the medial panel. Red Converse labels make up the tongue on the right shoe, with contrasting blue Ader Error branding on the left. The sail white rubber toe cap and midsole have scuff marks, stains, and chipped paint graphics to keep the design consistent. Co-branded nameplates on the heel celebrate the second collaboration between the two brands. The yellowing translucent outsole featuring blue and white plaid patterns wraps up this anarchic Chuck 70 High makeover.
Should you buy a size down in Converse?
The Converse website recommends customers size down in their All Star and Chuck 70 silhouettes however we would still recommend staying true to size. Unless you have narrow feet, we don’t recommend sizing down in Converse.
