Celebrating the silhouette’s 35th anniversary, the Dunk Low Retro SP ‘Kentucky’ borrows a familiar color scheme from Nike’s legendary ‘Be True to Your School’ series from 1985. The high-top basketball shoe originally made for the University of Kentucky is updated as a versatile low-top, featuring a white leather upper with royal blue overlays. A breathable mesh tongue is topped with a woven Nike tag, complementing a second Nike logo hit on the heel tab.

Although it’s been a while since the sneaker was an on-court staple, the Dunk is back in low-top form, lending itself well to its retired and retro status.

Taking on a clean and simple two-toned upper, this low top Nike Dunk utilizes the team colors of the Kentucky Wildcats. The thicker varsity-style laces are touched with a Sail white, while the interior lining featured a ribbed texture similar to wrist-cuffs on varsity jackets which is then offset by Royal Blue overlays, laces, tongue branding, Swoosh logos, and the rubber outsole. Finally, more white can be found on the tongues, lining, and midsole to finish off the two-tone design.
