Reintroduced in 2002 with an “R” appended to its name, this running silhouette was updated with a new mesh upper, a redesigned midsole and a more affordable price tag. Check out one of the model’s latest offerings, the New Balance 1906R “White Silver Orange”.
This NB 1906R has a breathable white mesh base. The synthetic leather overlays that crisscross the shoe are a combination of white and metallic silver. The ribbon-like “N” logos on both the medial and lateral quarter panels are white with metallic silver outlines. The tongue labels are metallic silver, matching the eye stay accents. An orange insole shows off white and orange NB and 1906R branding and an orange NB logo stands out on the heel spines. The off-white and grey midsole features orange and grey ABZORB cushioning at the heel. A grey and orange rubber outsole with N-ergy shock absorption and Stability Web tech caps off this release.
